Eyebrows are the window to the face

Great Eyebrows and How To Get Them

Ladies, let’s talk about eyebrows. Most of us grew up ignoring our brows—or worse, over-plucking them. Brooke Shields is famous for her fluffy eyebrows. But you have to be careful going with that look because, let’s be honest, if you’re not careful, you may end up with a unibrow. And frankly, that’s not a good look on anyone. Have you seen the ultra thin pencil brows making a comeback on the runway? Women are now bleaching their brows, adding odd colors to them, or  shaving designs into them. Think Effie Trinket from The Hunger Games.

Sheesh.

But here’s the thing: your brows make a bigger difference than you think. Brows are small, but mighty. Change them, and you change your whole look.

Did you know makeup artists always start with a client’s brows to frame the face? “The right brow shape and color can have a dramatic impact; they can open up the eyes, making you look more awake and youthful, or lift the cheekbones by drawing attention upward,” says Chanel brow artist Jimena Garcia.

Okay, we get it, we get it…we need to pay attention to our brows.

Fortunately it takes very little time, money, or effort to keep your brows neat and tidy. There’s a simple, inexpensive fix that lifts, shapes, & holds brows in place without a lot of fuss.

What is this brow-magic product?

It’s Brow Gel—one swipe, big impact!

Adding brow gel to your routine is a game-changer, & here’s why:

Effortlessly Grooms and Tames Brows
If your brows are thick, wiry, or unruly, brow gel acts like a styling product for your face. A few quick swipes keep every hair in place, preventing an untamed, messy look. It’s a quick fix, even on rushed mornings.

Adds Fullness and Definition
For thinner or sparse brows, tinted or fiber-infused gels can make a noticeable difference. Each hair is coated, and brows appear thicker & denser.

  • Fiber-infused gel: Tiny, hair-like fibers cling to natural hairs for extra volume.
  • Tinted gel: Subtly colors hairs and skin beneath, adding depth.

Creates a Natural, Finished Look
Some pencils or powders can look harsh, but brow gel produces a soft finish. It defines your brows, but doesn’t make them look fake and drawn-on.

Versatile and Easy to Use
Whether you wear little makeup or love to go full glam, brow gel fits easily into your routine:

  • Worn alone: Quick swipes of clear or tinted gel instantly lift and tidy brows.
  • Layered: Use it as the final step after a pencil or powder to set brows in place.
  • Brushed-up laminated look: Comb hairs upward and lock them with a strong-hold gel—achieve the trendy brushed “laminate” style at home, but skip a salon visit.

You can tell I’m a big fan of brow gel! My eyebrow hairs are naturally stubborn, so I never skip this step. Pop some in your makeup bag—you’ll thank yourself.
